One of a kind, in the literal sense: there was one of these pedestals, and now there's one table. It started life as an ITE studio camera pedestal at a TV station in Roanoke, Virginia.
The base is the whole reason we built it: a single cast-metal center column on a three-wheel dolly, original hardware still on it. Nothing about it was made to be furniture, which is exactly why it looks the way it does.
The rolling gear we left alone. The wheels still turn and the steering ring still works, so you can put a hand on it and drive the table across the floor the way an operator would have crabbed the camera toward the anchor desk.
Bar height. Takes stools. Works as a kitchen island, a spot to eat, or a standing desk if your office has any personality to it.
