Kiss Me Kate brings Cole Porter's beloved Broadway musical to life with the sparkling chemistry of Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel. This 1953 classic, directed by George Sidney, is a vibrant Technicolor adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, reimagined as a backstage romance with some of the most memorable songs in musical theater. Grayson and Keel's vocal performances and comedic timing make this a standout entry in the golden age of Hollywood musicals. This 2001 Warner Home Video release preserves the film in its original theatrical glory.
