To insure the optimum instrumental sound will reproduced by the microphones, each pick-up areais metered for it's most positive frequency responce during each selection. The most compatible type of microphone is the employed in that specific room area. Depending on recording location, either slide or dial pot mixers are used to balance the microphone levels.
