How we list every record

Every album we list goes through the same hand process so you can buy with confidence:

Two grades, both published. Record and sleeve are graded separately using the Goldmine standard — the same vocabulary used on Discogs and in collector price guides. Defects are called out in plain language.
Runout photos of the exact copy. Albums listed through our current system are photographed in the deadwax — the runout area between the last groove and the label — so you see the matrix etching of the specific record going in the mail. Not a stock image. How to read the deadwax →
AI-assisted, human-verified. Our AI vision check reads the runout etchings and surfaces them as structured data. A human inspector confirms every grade and every matrix reading before the listing goes live.
Conservative on the line. When a record sits between two grades, we list it at the lower one. We’d rather you open the package and be pleasantly surprised.
